Nighthum is a quiet room for tinnitus. Find the pitch of your ringing in about a minute. Nighthum then plays masking sound with an octave removed around it, so the sound sits under the ringing instead of on top of it.

No lists, no dashboards. A bedroom at night, and the things in it do what they look like they do.
Tap it and the sound starts and the room lights. Sound keeps going with the screen off, with the controls on your lock screen and in your AirPods.
The spectrum of what is playing is the city skyline. Your pitch is one lit window across the street, and the notch is the dark cut around it.
Drag it along its arc: fifteen minutes to all night. The sound fades slowly at the end and the glass warms toward dawn.
Headphones on, volume low. Pick the nearest band, then drag the lit window along the skyline until the tone sits on your ringing. About a minute.
How loud, and how much it bothers you. The notebook on the nightstand keeps them, and over weeks the gap between the two lines is habituation.
Ten minutes to settle a spike. Forty-five for focus. Thirty to wind down. All night, with a fade over the last ten minutes.
White, pink and brown noise, the sleep timer and the daily check-in are free for everyone. Pro adds the notch at your pitch, rain, surf and wind and blends of any sources, the weekly diary ribbon with your full history, and the wind-down and all-night sessions.
The yearly plan renews automatically until cancelled in your Apple Account settings. Prices in USD; local pricing in the App Store.
It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose or treat tinnitus, and nothing in it replaces an audiologist or an ENT doctor. The pitch match is your own report, used to shape a masking sound; it is not a hearing test.
Sudden tinnitus, ringing in one ear only, ringing with hearing loss, dizziness or pain: see a clinician soon. Keep every sound comfortably quiet. Louder is never better.
Your pitch, your mixes and your diary live in the app's own storage on your iPhone. Nighthum has no network code and declares Data Not Collected in the App Store. Read the privacy policy.
